By 1976, Hank's compositions for the Kenton Band had taken on a very 
mature and delightful character. This is the opening track on the  "Kenton 76" CD 
(available from Sierra Music). It is a medium tempo swing chart. There is a tenor 
saxophone solo. The melody is wonderful, and the 9/4 setting somehow flows 
seamlessly to the point where the listener somehow forgets that the chart is in an 
"odd meter." Amazing stuff! This chart requires 1 alto, 2 tenor and 2 baritone 
saxophones. 5-5-5-3 (condensed score)
